Operation Santa's Call 2012

Operation Homefront was formed in February 2002. It was developed to support the families of deployed service members immediately following 9/11. Operation Homefront  (Click here to visit the Operation Homefront Website) is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, and has evolved into a major nonprofit. The organization currently provides services to military families across the nation with 23 locations serving 41 states. The national office handles cases in states that do not have their own local offices. The majority of  clients are the lowest-paid service members, the E-1 through E-6 enlisted ranks. 

Williamson Bros. Bar-B-Q

Operations Santa’s Call is a toy drive for military families in need throughout Georgia.  The Kickoff for the toy drive is November 1st at Williamson bros, Bar-B-Q and several other locations in the metro Atlanta area.  Williamson Bros. Bar-B-Q is offering a 20 % discount to anyone who brings a new, unwrapped toy in and dines for lunch or dinner on Thursday.

There are approximately 75 families eligible between Moody Air Force Base, Fort Stewart and the Atlanta area, each having an average of 3 children ( Click here for more Information on Operation Santa’s Call ). The number of toys each family will get to pick from “ the toy store” all depends on how many donations Operation Santa’s Call  receives.  The top rated is always the bicycle of course.  However, they are asking for toys for children 6 months to 14 years of age.  Grocery and food gift cards are also accepted for these families in need of a little assistance this holiday season.

Williamson Bros. Bar-B-Q has been serving the community and helping assist our military for over 20 years.  We are located at 1425 Roswell Rd. in Marietta Ga.  We look forward to seeing everybody and really appreciate everyone’s generous donations.
