JuneFest 2012 at Holiday Harbor Marina and Resort

JuneFest 2012 had one of the biggest turnouts EVER this past weekend. Many supporters from both land and lake came by to check out the festival and contribute to the cause, Multiple Sclerosis.

Lake Allatoona was packed from boat to boat in the Holiday Harbor Marina Campground Cove with cruisers. speedboats, jet-skis, and even dingys lined up to enjoy the fun at JuneFest. The lake lovers backed in their boats and tied up to the tunes playing from the main land.

The attendees who came by land and those who made their way to the shore enjoyed the award-winning Pitbulls “Up in Smoke” barbecue, sodas and beer, and the bands that performed who were on point keeping the attendees jived and swaying to their beats.

Iambic Underground and Sol Junky are two local Atlanta bands that performed at JuneFest. Iambic Underground is a cover band that strums out Southern Rock music and sounds phenomenal live. Sol Junky is a beer keg beating, groovy band that jams on stage and gets their fans dancing. They both were great bands to listen to and all the attendees really loved their sounds.

Holiday Harbor,  with Amy’s Armor the host and sponsor of this annual lakeside event, raised money  for the Georgia Multiple Sclerosis Society .

Amy’s Armor participates in fundraisers to support the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. They do a MSWalk and MS150 bike ride for Multiple Sclerosis and are always looking for more people to participate and join their cause to fight MS.
