Luv For Art in Historic Downtown Duluth

Located in Historic Downtown Duluth is a hidden gem named Luv For Art.  The gallery brought a much-needed experience that has been missing in this area for years.  The store walls are lined with inspirational works from the local growing art community. It’s a place where artist can come to be inspired and to collaborate on ideas to grow the recent emergence of the Gwinnett Fine arts movement.  While Luv For Art nurtures the established artist, it also helps create a path for the novice looking for an outlet for expression.  With scheduled classes like Wine and Painting, Babies N Brushstrokes, Digital Photography, and Art Perception, Luv For Art has something to offer to anyone at any level.

If Luv For Art is a hidden Gem then shop owner Bobbie Flowers is the treasure.  As soon as you walk into the store you are immediately embraced by her warmth and glowing personality.  She encourages creative freedom and is always willing to assist the arts community.  Earlier this year Bobbie and the Gallery were nominated for Artworks Gwinnett’s first awards event celebrating the Gwinnett County art community.  Luv For Art was also nominated for the Creative Business award.  Although the Gallery did not win Bobbie said in a post-show interview “that art was the real winner tonight”!  With that type of attitude it is evident why Luv For Art and Bobbie Flowers will be a successful business in Downtown Duluth.

Luv For Art will be celebrating its one-year Anniversary August 25^th in Historic Downtown Duluth. The all-day event will consist of art classes for kids, live music, and delicious food. Come out to not only support small business owners here in Duluth, but for an affordable good night out.  Within the next week Luv For Art will post the musicians who will be performing with a schedule of their performance times.  There will also be a special menu created by Sterverino’s that offers early reservations with date night packages that include a wine tasting hosted by a wine expert who will explain the subtle nuances of each bottle. Below is the menu and prices provided for early registration and the day of the event.  There will also be an opportunity to buy bottles of the wines you enjoy.
